Abstract

In this paper, the adaptation of the SibCIOM three-dimensional thermodynamic model is considered that allows modeling a three-dimensional velocity and temperature distribution, as well as a two-dimensional field of the ice cover for the Novosibirsk reservoir with seasonal changes in the water level. An analysis of the numerical results shows that the simulated processes, such as the main directions of the currents, seasonal changes in the basin water temperature and the dynamics of the average thickness of the ice cover, do not differ from that of the real processes characteristic of the Novosibirsk reservoir.
