On a seismic prospecting method in propagation of endogenous microseismic waves

It is shown that seismic prospecting as regards endogenous microseismic waves gives much promise, which is confirmed by graviprospecting practice. It was found that the spring gravimeter has some properties of a high-quality resonant microseismometer not taken into account earlier. These properties are used non-deliberately in highly effective empirical gravimethod called "GONG". The emphasis is made on the importance of creating special resonant prospecting micro-seismometers, and a method for applying them to the seismic prospecting of oil and gas deposits is proposed.
